Practicing gratitude daily improves sleep, increases positive feelings throughout the day, grows feelings of hope for the future, improves emotion regulation and build resilience. All these things are powerful in goal attainment.
Meditation can be practiced in many ways and this can be incorporated into your coaching journey.
Meditation is not about 'having no thoughts' as many people believe, it is the practice of becoming aware of your thoughts with no judgement.
The brain does not know the difference between something real and something we imagine. This is why dreams can feel so real. Visualisation boosts motivation and performance. making you achieve your goal faster.
It is important to nourish your body, mind and soul. They all play a role in personal performance and goal attainment.
Ensure you are consuming things that benefit you. This is good, nutrient rich food, positive and uplifting media, a spiritual practice - whatever this means for you.
if you are feeling overwhelmed, down or any other negative emotion, do not be afraid to ask for help. Remember, the top performers in any field have all had help along the way - you do not have to be alone.
Coaching is not counselling, mentoring or therapy. It can be awakening, therapeutic and empowering.
I cannot give you advice or tell you the answers. You know the answers already, its my job to shine light on them.
